For the Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
For the Cinnamon Swirl:

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
Make the Cake Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
